Is that the tool for re-setting the self adjusting clutch?, if so you only need it if you are re using the clutch. If your replacing the clutch and pressure plate with new no special tools are required
Clutch alignment tool
Yeah its to reset the clutch.
Always replaced clutch when doing DMF's so probably whey I have never used it before lol.
never changed a clutch/dmf yet, on my list of things to have a go at.

i have and is not nice at all. And if its really bad you will need a grinder to cut the flywheel off.
p.s if you got a f40 gearbox they look lite there not.
Yeah its an F40 but got workshop facilities and 2 poster ramp
you be fine then as sed if flywheel is bad it is not nice. take you about 4/5 hours thats how long i did it in with the fathers help worst bit bleeding it mine didnt want play fair and you have same car as me just see it in your name signums all the way
p.s replace everything and dont forget 2.4liters of oil im sure its that some one will say if im wrong good luck m8
What happens to the flywheel to require them to need to be ground off?
Mine rattles but its not that bad so if its going to get worse and make it harder I may have to do it sooner rather than later.
something about the bolts get really really tight/worn if the DMF is allowed to rattle for a long while
