    Default Help me identify this?

    http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/5721/img0170ow.jpg

Its under/between the clutch and brake pedals on a 06 Focus, I guess its to do with the steering, but i'm not so sure its meant to have no housing on it/signs of rust?

    Cheers!

does look like the steering column, although the angle doesnt seem right to me, seems to be going out of the floor as opposed to the bulkhead.. if it is so then yes its correct it doesnt have a housing.

Looks like UJ at bast of steering column, if so, not changed much since I took a 1979 Vauxhall Royale apart.

If its a modern car then it really does have a lot of dashboard plastics missing. The only thing ive driven with a view like that was old buses. Definetly not right.
