Default what parts needed for facelify conversion??

am going to look at a crash damaged veccy so ive got a little project, but its pre facelift, so decided since it needs a new front end may aswel facelift it.

parts i think i need are.

    headlights
    bonnet
    wings
    bumper
    grille
    slam panel.

is there anything else i need? also should the facelift lights just be plug and play?

    Default

    Facelift fog lights
    Facelift foglight surrounds
Facelift Mouth grille (grille between the fog lights)
    Manual bonnet stay and catch.

**Don't use the Gas stay for the facelift bonnet, you will destroy the bonnet.

I could tell you the details but I fear it start another 'Prefacelift bonnet is steel and the facelift bonnet is aluminium' debate.

Seriously, the facelift bonnet is lighter and 'weaker' compared to the pre facelift one so it will probably bend and fold over - or warp at least. Making a mess of your work.

    I feared this would happen.

The prefaclift one is heavier also due to the extra weight of the grille, which on facelift is attached to the bumper. The preface has a steel frame and aluminium skin, where as the facelift is aluminium. Apparently.
