Lower front suspension arm/stub axle assembly may be damaged if kerbed. Is it a regular wobble, like wheel balance, or does it vary?

The front drop links on my car are near the end of their life, that is causing a very slight vibration on the steering wheel above 40mph

Any noise from the front wheels between 30-70 when accelerating or full lock turning at low speeds?

Had this on my GSi and turned out to be the front n/s wheel bearing/hub assembly. Due to the modern design of bearings, you won't detect any play in them simply by rocking the wheel in the old fashioned way.

thinking on it, it might be because i was getting wierd sounds from the front o/s wheel in the snow every time i had wheel spin.
