    Default are these any good??

    hi all im after getting a tuning box for my 1.9 cdti 150 but havent got alot of money to play with would this one be any good???

    They're as good as any!

    Try to resist turning it up. If you can feel the difference on the standard setting then the chances are that turning it up will not get you any major improvement. £90+ is not a lot to pay for something that you can 'feel' the difference from, so its best not to push your luck too far with it.

    Not adviseable to fit one if your car has a DPF.

    Be aware that a tuning box is very good at finding out if any of your engine/transmission parts are 'on the edge'. Also be aware that it will play havoc with your fuel computer, leading you to believe that fuel consumption is much better when really it's probably much worse if you use the extra power above what you normally would use.

    mine performs better on the lower settings

    had mine fitted only months and 3000 miles before dmf went and yes they do lie on fuel computer

    I'm about to remove mine in favour of a remap

    ive been told i dont have a dpf how will i know for sure?

    If it's a manual hatchback Vectra 1.9 CDTI, it won't have one.
