Default Bmw? Snow? Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

ok then, yeah the snows been and gone (for now) but im going to say this because bmw's really are pap in snow! Firstly the bloke over the road has a (GROAN) 320d bmw! couldnt even get it out his drive in the snow when my 1.8 veccy and the missus 1.2 corsa sxi drove around in the stuff like it was cotton wool! had to help push him out only for him to get stuck 100yds further on at the junction!. Then a day later whilst i was walking to the local shops there was a 5 series with its back wheels spinning like hell and going at below walking pace!,last week there was one in the daily mirror which had a picture of some dude trying to push it! and the footage of the usa snow storms showed one going round in a circle! i mean come on bmw, this is ab-so-lute rubbish! Even a ****** kia is better to drive in the snow!. I think ill keep the veccy thanks! tah dah!

Bemmers do tend to be pants in the snow, but then most think that if you just stick it in gear and plant the right foot that that will work, most people have no idea how to drive in the snow any more. Years ago all cars were rear wheel drive and we managed in the snow, mind you the width of tyres these days dont help.

Nothing to do with BMW's being rubbish, its more to do with them being RWD and people not being able to control them properly in the snow because of that.

Personally i would love a BMW or Audi.

Just because people can't drive in the snow doesn't make that brand of car rubbish.

I always thought RWD was great fun in the snow, but then, I was brought up with RWD, one of my friends commented recently his son had no idea what a RWD car was. made us both feel old.
