    Default Rear Light Cluster Cleaning

Does anyones rear light cluster get dirt inside at the bottom corner where it meets the rear wing?.. seems internal too and I can't see a way of cleaning it Bugs the hell out of me so if anyone knows of this and how to clean it I'd love to hear.

They all do....mine has - but not to bad at the moment....car's just 5 years old now...Don't think anyone has come up with a proper solution as yet...

To me it looks like the mould grows in the seam where the inner plastic case is 'welded' to the outer coloured lens(es) and where damp naturally drains to.

    Cheers

I found new after market ones were available on Ebay & other VXl/Saab Car parts sites - 'New Old Stock' they shift from time to time in some cases..... a fair bit cheaper....

Some Tw*t let their shopping trolley run away in an Asda car we were doing some shopping not 'parking it properly' in a trolley park & it ran into the O/S rear corner of our Vectra missing the body panel thankfully but damaged the light lens... found it when we returned to the car.

I finally got one from a Local motor factors where I work part time....

    cheers
