Default Help with fog light fitting.

Hi All hope you all had an enjoyable xmas.

I have a few questions as i'm a bit confused after reading several threads.

I have a 55 plate vectra estate Exclusive i think i have the wiring loom for them but not sure. My questions are, What shape fog light do i need and what other wiring would be required if any, and would i need to get it tech2'd.

    Thanks
    Stu

i can give you a hand to physically remove the bumper and fit the lights but wiring is not my forte. give us a nudge if you need a hand once you have all you need. I take it you have bought different switches for the cabin to be able to switch them on and off etc..

Best thing is to do a Search for 'Fog Lights'..lots of Threads/posts with info on various methods....as there can be issues with the car's Computer/ECU etc recognising parts you decide to fit....

I've fitted 'em on our 55 reg Facelift Club spec car with the Non Sport Front Bumper (as has the Life spec model ) & posted what I did...what suited me...a couple of posts shown below summarising why ...

    http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showpo...1&postcount=24

    http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showpo...4&postcount=10

It appeared to be pre-wired - at least had wiring harnesses terminating where the fog lights would normally be mounted....the plugs look like these....

    http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showpo...0&postcount=12

The bumper on your car of course is the Sport Front Bumper - like the higher Spec SRI/ Elite etc...requiring different lights....Check Ebay/ Carpartsconnexion for cheaper Items...

Checking the various threads/post on here on this subject would be worth it...

    Cheers

If going the factory route with them powered via the UEC (under the bonnet fusebox) then yes and thats only if it supports the function
Plasma's Tech2 services are now partially open and able to provide services
