Where to stay in London

Hi to all, I am planning a 3 night stay in London, early April and would like to know of any good value places to stay. I will be doing a theatre night to see les miserables at the queens theatre and my wife and two daughters (age 16 and 18) are doing a makeover and photo shoot near picadilly circus. I will be looking for 2 rooms and wondered if anybody knew of any special deals or discount codes or recommendations. I would rather stay near these two venues.
I know it's going to cost a small fortune, my flights for the 4 of us is costing me £360 via Easyjet.
Any answers greatly appreciated.

We normally use the premier inn at covent garden Neil, very well placed for all the tourist stuff and excellent pubs/restaurants all around

We love the place

Travelodge at Drury lane, PremierInn Putney Bridge, PremierInn Euston Road, all well located if you don't need to bring a vehicle.

My mother lived in London, so I always stopped with her. For any serving or ex military there's always the place at/near Waterloo, supposed to be good standard and cheaper than civvy hotels.

I always try and stay at premier inn waterloo. It's just behind the London eye. It was 125 a night last time i stayed but you might get a deal if you book now.

Me and my girlfriend had a weekend away in London just before xmas and we stayed at the Strand Palace Hotel, was just around the corner from the theatre we went too and easy walking distance to the London Eye etc.
