    Default duel mass flywheel

Hi all had my duel mass flywheel done about 7 months ago. Now when the dealer replace it with a new 1 I ask for the old to be put the boot so I could have a look at it. maybe take photos and right to Vauxhall about this as my car had only done 27000 miles. Now if this problem happens again can i have the old one reconditioned so it would be like new again. Or would it be better just to buy a new one. Or weigh it in it is heavy.

As far as i am aware, they cannot be reconed and are effectivly scrap. 27k is a low mileage for one to fail, touch wood, my Veccy is still on the original DMF and has covered 107k, so far not even a rattle.

Parts warranty mate, new parts have 12 months on them. So if it failed again within 12 months of fitting then its a FOC replacement.
