    Default Electrical problem

    Hi there,

    I have a 2005 Vectra C with a strange problem.

When pushing my fist down in a specific spot on the driver's seat, cabine blower stops, heated seats turns off and lumination of the blower's control panel and heated seats rollers goes out.

    Any idea? :-)

sounds like something is shorting (although with a high enough resistance not too blow the fuse)

Disconnect the cable to the heater in the seat. If all ok after this, you found the short/problem.

sounds a bit like a wire shorting out if you look under the seat all the wiring for the electric seat air bags etc is under there check none of the wiring is not split or become trapped in the seat track
mine had a similar problem when i put the seat right back
    good luck

Sound like a great idea. I will remove the front seat and check it today :-)

I think, you're right. I just cannot figure out, what can cause a short inside the driver's seat...
