PS3 display

Got a PS3 slim with GT5 for Xmas, when you start up for the first time on one screen your asked to adjust the picture/lines to fit screen. Well I stretched too big by the look of it as on the GT5 home screen I can't see a couple of the options on the side of the screen or the home button on some other screens. Any idea how I can the game to fit the screen? I've tried the reset display (hold power when switching on for 2 beeps) and screen size in display settings. I haven't tried it on a HD tv yet with a HDMI cable yet to see if it fits ok on that.

mine is a little smaller that the actual display size (default IIRC).. been playing for a few hours alls fine.

Its as if the picture is zoomed in, does anyone know if I can get to resize the picture again like at the start? I reset the system and gave me all the start up screens apart from the screen size one!
