did mine a week before xmas - I didn't drain it but when you take the top hose of the housing about 2 litres leaked out.

what size of hose is it? could you put a bolt up it to stop it leaking?
how long did it take you to do?

meant to ask, what was your reason for changing it, did it sort it out?

    Default thermostat

I used water pipe pliers on the thermostat hose it still leaked out apx 1.5litres I had to buy the antifreeze from halfords as although the dealership was open (saturday-morning) the stores was closed! the antifreze was on the counter I could even see it but the salesman could not sell it... doh!

Great website it was spot on with regard to the how to pics and fitting the t-stat (£12.) and not getting the whole housing.
