CD30 MP3 / Parrot MKi9200 & Lack of AUX Input

I am currently driving round in a 2009 Antara (don't ask ) and noticed that when I connected my iPod to the Parrot kit that the sound comes through in Mono.

I took the head unit out and discovered that there is no mention of an AUX input on the label. I was also annoyed that the head unit was made in June 2006 so it was already 3 years old when the car was first registered.

When the head unit came out the block connector was pulled out of the head unit and there is zero slack on the loom. After much swearing I have managed to reconnect it, but now even the radio only plays in mono through the front speakers. I can only assume that something has come loose again.

Can anyone assist with a wiring diagram from the block connector on the back of the head unit so I can check all the sub-connectors?

.....and if anyone knows a cunning way to allow me to listen to my iPod the way Apple intended I would love to hear it (FM or new HU are not an option)

When I had a similar sound problem it was not the connectors on the radio/head unit (they are locked in place) but it was the connectors into the blue Parrot box. Their clips are pretty useless.
