dvr cameras
rite guys i know a few of you have them i have been looking for 1 for a bit of fun wen im out and about in the car now im not after top spec or that just sumthing cheap so im looking at this but i will still prob nead a sd card to what do you lot think?

I bought more or less the same one earlier this year and it was rubbish, I'll have a look for the one I bought that works really well, I think it was about £20. I'll be back. lol.
This is similar to the one I bought, apart from mine doesn't have a torch, and I happy with the results.

yea thats not to dear lol but the torch bit thats puting me of ie is it always on as i dont want lite or a beam showing out my front window? if you can find the link to where you got yours that would be ace bud plus i dont want to order 1 from china pref 1 in the uk
I had a look at the one above and it has a power switch for the torch, so you can have it on or off. This is the one I bought, but it was from China, and I've had no problems with it.

I'd go for the one with the torch if I was buying another and it's uk based.
Hoochy a couple of mates have those ones that you posted, we use them when out mountain biking, quality is very impressive.
Hmm, I noticed on the example for Hoochydaddy's one the car number plates couldn't be seen, maybe photoshop would help.
Both cameras have same spec apparently, 30fps and 720/480 so would assume similar quality? Interested in these, would the recording be admissible for an insurance claim?
i honestly dont know grumpy as it could be said it was a invasion of priv or human rites malarky but if its on a main public road/m way i dont see there being a problem i got a new phone from my daughter for xmass a rio not a wow make but a nice wee phone was mabye thinking of getting a phone stand/ holder and puting some sd memory and just using that sat in a holder on the dash

ok found this vid with a md80 used and used windows movie maker and set to 25fps to remove the wobble/vibrations oh and its on knockhill track lol
