Did you have trouble getting the bumper to pull into the wings snuggly?

I have this problem on mine too mate, and mine is a facelift! I need to have a look at it at some point. There seems to be a slight gap between the top of the bumper and the headlight, doesn't seem to pull the bumper in at these points.

Right because you have used the prefacelift panel theres and extra bit that sticks up on it, what i found to do was when I done my mates Vectra was to fold the bit over, then he held the top of the bumper down while i screwed it in and it pulled it in lovely

yeah mate i have done that but i'm having trouble with the brackets on the wings pulling the bumper in flush. It just aint happening.

Is the groove part of the bumper that the wing slots into slightly bent up? you might need to heat it up abit and push it down, sounds like its not catching the last slot of the wing guide

Also my 58 plate SRi is doing this now and its a FACELIFT lolololol, sometimes it catches if I get someone to place their knee and push down hard on the part that sticks out while im tightning the top screw

pretty sure its catching. I don't think the bolt i'm using is pulling the bracket enough. I'm using a headlight bolt and a plumbing olive as a boss type thing to let the bracket travel bypassing the inner wings as they are pre face also.
