Help needed!!

Firstly hi everyone, after owning a few vectra b gsi's, i've just got myself a 2002 vectra 2.2 sri. Its very nice although after only 1 day developed a problem.

sorry if this comes up alot but i want to hopefully rule out CIM.

The car seems to lose just the dials as in speedo, revs, fuel and temp, only tends to do it when cold. If i turn it off and on all ok again, or yesterday when i slammed the door it came back on. Also today it says check front fog light although its fine. Could this all be related to ABS plug or is it the dreaded CIM!

can you get a mate to check the error codes for you, that will give you an more definate indication, but from what i have read on here about CIM issues it certainly sounds like one of them..

don't really have any mates with the fault reader mate, maybe a case of auto electrician!!

The fogs may not be related as the Vectra is quite good at predicting a bulb to go. Mine kept telling me my driverside dipped beam was gone but it wasn't. 5 days later it went!

Yes as long as it's the same ident code, But you will need to have tech2 ready to code it to car, best to drop car and CIM off at a garage and let them code everything

how do i find my ident code?? the one on ebay says ita ident code is UZ
