Flashing headlights and electrics problems?

Hi all I put a post on here not so long ago about my headlights flashing when driving also all interior lights flashing, well I found the problem the alternator was pushing out ac voltage instead of the dc voltage required the volt meter read between 13.6 and15.7 whereas the highest reading should have been 14.6 so had alternator changed and all is well for now except I just bust a front spring merry Xmas me...

Well at least you have now sorted the electrical problem -
sounds like the rectifier circuit was deffunct...

Yet another victim of the dodgey vectra spring...
I did write to the VOSA, but they told me that there is nothing wrong with road springs !! :O
