As above, Looking at buying a Signum 2.0T. I am asking you all for guidance on what to lookout for.
Are these engines ok?
Cheers in advance.

Well there's a name I recognise
There's an awful lot of people on this forum who advocate the 2.0T as the strongest engine in the range.
Go on.. Just do it.. You know you want to..
yep they are prob the best of the bunch. They are chain driven so no probs about cam belt. Just make sure its got good service history. Other things to look out for are broken springs so have a good feel about, other than that mate no real probs.
Just one bit of advice.......GET IT!
I have a 2.0T Signum bought it with 60k on clock now has 92k, apart from ware and tear items including a snapped front spring, all i've had done is a new acellerator pedal.
Brilliant car.
there is a full right up on buying a signum 2.0t in the December issue Total Vauxhall mag.. I would add my weight to the go for it, i have one and love it,
you can see some pics of mine here taken about a year ago.

hi bud buy it you will be very happy i am had mine 6 years now 129 k on the clock but it gets serviced every 6 k
Check the obvious. Turbo's etc. Blue smoke if it's started from cold etc.
The service history is the main thing, as if the oil is changed regularly then the turbo should be O.K..
The rest is already mentioned. Just to check you know....Springs.
Saying that, you can replace all four for £150 so don't let them you put you off if they're broken. Just knock them down to cover the cost etc.
The Turbo is going to be the only thing to worry about, as already stated make sure its not smoking and you should be ok.
Check for 'twittering' noise on cold start up, a well-documented problem with the auxiliary belt tensioner/pulley. The engine is an absolute stonker. It just loves to be driven enthusiastically, and is quiet and refined to boot.
