battery help needed

hi boys i have been given the work van to use as and when i need it so ive not used the vectra in a few weeks anyway i took it out on sunday for a run and it was brilliant yet i went out yesterday to pop up the shops and it was dead no life what so ever. i noticed the head light switch was left on so it used all the battery. anyway i jumped started it and took it for a spin for 20 mins got home turned it off and started no problem. yet got into it tonight and battery has gone again wont start yet there was enough to unlock on the fob and the lights inside worked but after a few mins everything was dead again like the day before. so am i looking at a new battery or do i just need to take the car on a very long drive to recharge the battery ? sorry for the long post

I'd start the car and check the alternator is charging ok before giving the battery a good long charge - it's going to take a while given the current temperatures.

need to do a lot of miles to charge it, if it starts ok after a jump start and short run then its charging ok. I suspect a dud battery.
