Snooper s3 help please

Firstly if this is in the wrong section then i apologise

I have been given the above but have plugged it into the car and it seems to do nothing!..

all its doing is there is a P flashing on the left hand side and a bar runs across the front.

my question is.......do i need to register or reset or do anything else with it?

The Snooper S3 is a GPS based system, with laser if I remember rightly, there should be a cable to connect it to a PC and you would need to subscribe to get the updates.
I really wouldn't trust the laser detection, if it detects the laser chances are it's already got you, not sure how much 'scatter' a laser gives off.

S3 does not have laser detection, but the S3NEO does, I have one, and it has never detected a laser since I got it 5 years ago.
