    If you check my threads for pics i've got 19's on a 40mm drop. I went for PI springs, only about £110 and more then happy with the ride quality...

    235/35 is the standard tyre size for flakes :thumb;

    I was looking at 19" snow flakes but I've now switched to Winter tyres 205/55 and the comfort is otherworldly compared to 225/45...I can't imagine how back shattering the 235/35 would be

    The ride on 19"s is hard, but not especially so. Numpties who drive with under-inflated tyres on 19"s will really have a hard ride, as lowering the pressures doesn't soften the ride, it hardens it.

    You may need to adjust the camber of the front wheels a little if you are going as low as 40mm on 235/35/19s. The only other problem you may encounter is finding an Osteopath that can fit you in for treatment often enough (yes, I have driven a Vectra on lowered 235/35/19s).

    There are a few members that have had this on the 19" flakes/VXR 19's. Thats the reason I bought 18" snowflakes as they very very rarely crack.
