    Default bad smell when reversing

Went shopping 2day and as i was reversing uphill into a parking space (outside) there was alot of crap slush and snow, and the car started to spin a lot, i got there in the end, only prob there was a bad smell coming from car, like brussel sprouts could be burning clutch or cat, was very bad smell, came back to car and drove a while smell gone and no warning lights, should i be worried, any thoughts as to what it is.

I used to get that with my golf, never found the cause. I always thought it was the clutch or gear box. If it is the cat why doesn't it do it in forward gears too?

It's probably your own exhaust fumes, that you've reversed over, and have then been drawn into the cabin by the fan motor.
