DAB stopped working

Hi All
Been having starting problems due to the EGR & following a flat battery episode this morning the DAB has stopped working
The station still comes up on the screen but i get no sound!
The CD still works fine!
Any ideas???

Sounds like you need a cold reset.

Un-do the battery again, for a couple of hours..
Then reconnect as usual.

This tends to solve about 90% of electrical glitches.

Failing that, check to see if your DAB is actually powering up - check fuses in the end of the dash (passenger side)
Usual ones to check are -
F1, F4, F7, F9, F10, F12, F17, F19 and F26.

Mine did that on the way into work yesterday too....

Possible condensation in a connector or the head-unit...

Caused by the car warming up after being frozen up over night.

I know it plays havoc with my Nav CD...
It spits out the Nav CD, which is steamed up / damp.

A quick wipe down with a soft cloth and the Nav works again...


so yes to me - condensation...

battery has been disconnected a few times now & fuses checked but still no DAB!
can anyone give me another pointer for what to try next?
