2008 SRI: Unlock and Lights come on?

Hi Guys,

My 08 SRI Vectra's number plate lights come on when i unlock the car and then go off when i close/lock the car. this is handy as gives a bit of light at the rear of the car.

I wonder whether it is possible for all the lights to come on when i unlock the car, such as dipped beams, rear lights so i can see better around the car?

I know with some other manufacturers this is standard, such as an ALFA i borrowed the other day.

however when you get out the car flash your full beam when you have turned the engine off, and headlights and reversing lights stay on for 30 seconds

A few Astra lads have I think. Im really tempted, but it seems a pain to set up the functions which puts me off
