Front End Noises

Hoping someone can advise on 2 separate "noises"........

1. When driving over speed bumps etc. there is a very disticnt crunching noise from the front of the car, anyone any ideas?

2. When turning the wheel both directions (just a fraction of a turn) there is a "twang" noise coming from where I would assume if the steering rack/ball joint somewhere although I'm not sure 100% (hence the question)

Anyone experienced anything similar?

(Car is a V6 cdti elite estate)

The first noise is highly likely to be worn anti-roll bar bushes. They only cost a few pounds, and aren't technically difficult to fit, just slow and fiddly.

The second noise isn't so easy to determine, although it could be the springs jumping in the seats or a stone stuck between the spring and the seat.
