    Default EGR Blanking

Whats the best way to go when it comes to taking the EGR Valve out of the Equasion?

And also for the 1.9cdti150 the oil is 5w/30 correct?

Vx recommend Longlife 5W30 Fully Synthetic for all Vx's post 2002.
However if you are doing frequent oil and filter changes 10W40 Semi Synthetic is also acceptable, indeed some Vx dealers put 10W40 in to reduce the cost of a service.

My remap plus egr removal and dpf removal was 215 quid and he came to my house for that if I went to him it would of been 180 all depends on where you are he is based in west Yorkshire and website is www.masperformance.co.uk

I recommend him to no end very impressed with the results all I need now is a rolling road print out

But the veccy is in a long term pause now as I have a mk3 escort xr3i cabriolet to restore which is going to take me most of next year and possibly year after so only corrective maintenance for the veccy now and maybe a stainless exhaust lol
