    ive just went to move the car and i have found greenish snow below it, i think it smells of Diesel help what do i do

    greenish????? sounds more like power steering fluid but some antifreeze can be green too. Check fluid levels see if they are low?

    just got the bonnet up there is fuel around the top of the fuel filter i gave the car a few high revs before i went to move it, now the wifey says it looks between yellow and green could i just need a new filter its been 13k since i changed it

    might just need the top tightening up, they have to be damn tight, at 13k i wouldn't say it needs a new filter. Probably fuel passing the seal, try tightening it first and check hoses are pushed in correctly.

    CDTI??

    No - if the fuel filter is leaking do not drive it.. They run a very high preasure and you could end up with diesel spraying all over the engine.

    Hydraulic fluid from shock absorbers is also green. I had one drain completely overnight a while back. Worth checking.

    In Ireland/NI the diesel is dyed red (normal agri red diesel) or green (taxed vehicle fuel).

    i took it a drive before i read the dont drive post and there was a couple of drops on the ground after i stopped but before i went i wiped around the Deisel filter thing and it still seems dry... i dont think its the shock absorbers john as it was below the middle of the engine
