Had mine about 10 days ago just took it back for the re-test and they charged me an extra £20 becuase i did the work myself and did not let them do it. Okay i suppose i expect to pay for a re-test if the MOT was £25 but it cost £40 for the MOt then another £20 for the retest.

    Never go there again

Thats the problem with cheap MOT's, if you take the car away to fix it yourself they charge you for a retest.

I use a MOT tester that doesn't do repairs. Most garages like that don't charge for a retest

If you have a local council depot that does MOT's take it there. They dont do repairs so wont have a vested interest in failing it in order to get the repair work.

£55.00 i pay for the mot at the local dealer which is vx but i may go there next time as it will pass when there's a month left on with a warranty.

I try to keep away from these places that offer them at £25.00 as i think there looking for work, They may not but im suspicious.

Yes i keep away from the MOTs at £25, It was £40 quid for the MOT and i dont think thats cheap to be honist with you. Defo not cheap when you add the £20 re-test so it came to £60
