    Default Screenwash additive?

I have heated jets, but Screenwash has frozen!!

What can I add to it to prevent freezing? I am using it neat at the moment

    What screenwash are you using?

Some are rated to a lower temperature than others.

If your using it neat and its frozen sounds like you are using the ready mixed stuff which is fine for summer use, I use Car Plan concentrated screen wash at 100%, no freezing issues for me.

Only other thing I can think of apart from running it more concentrated is throwing in a cheapo bottle of vodka or some isopropyl alcohol.

    ... Mine's frozen too.

Some motoring bloke on the radio this morning was advising using cheap vodka to help stop it freezing.

Methalated spirit is another one you could try.

    Default screenwash for winter

Auto express tested some - a Halfords one was good in the cold even if expensive.

I use the halfords scented (lemon for me) version double concentrate, i found mixing this 50/50 with water, never had an issue in winter.
Also on the works motor, neat 'car plan' screenwash, cheap and cheerful but again only issue is the nozzle on the bonnet, when the engine upto temp, alls fine.
