    Default HID Fitting - Pre-Face

I have just bought a 50w 6000k HID kit from HID-Direct and I understand everything apart from how the ballast/cancellor connects to the existing car wiring.

Is it plug and play or does it require some wiring? I have done search and cant seem to find an answer to this.

    Any help is much appreciated

There are 2 wires with spade connectors on them, they plug in to the original VX wiring plug for the normal bulb in the headlight unit. Those wires run to the ballast, the ballast is then connected to the canceller, which in turn is connected to the HID bulb.

The car wiring comes in one side, you fit the kit, HID's are on the other end... Pretty simple and the instructions will be in the kit...

EDIT: Or you can just listen to the better articulated version above

This is where i put my ballasts tho...

If you look at one of the black plastic plugs on the balasts im sure there is a + & - symbol on them, you'll need to put a multimeter over the original VX plug to get the + side, well thats how I did it.

If i remember right there colour coded, (kit)red goes in the black on the car, (kit)black goes in the brown on the car.

But the instructions are pretty simple...

You can see the spades here at the top, sticking out the rubber grommet.

To be honest, the easiest way to think of these kits is like a balloon.

The rubber grommet is where you tie the balloon and you have the 2 spades sticking out for the VX wiring and the HID bulb.

Then the circumference of the balloon is the kit itself, round to the ballast, onto the cancellor and back to the grommet... If i make sense. read this now look back at the above pic and you should understand...
