    Unhappy Tc & esp

    Hi all,

    I am the proud owner of a 3.2 v6 Signum Elite (53).
Which comes with the TC & ESP system on it but no way of turning it off.

I have looked in the owners manual to locate where I would need to fit the switch but no pointers in there. Any ideas folks.

Yesterday's snow really sorted it out in a bad way unfortunateley. I now have the ABS and TC lights on permenately opps. I think thats a garage trip or can I reset these my self.

There is a blanking cover on the right hand side of the consol by the alarm button. Get some "blu tac" and fashion a "knob" press it ontp the blank then pull, it will pull the cover off without damaging it. If you get the switch (I forget the part number) then insert it where the blanking plug goes. You may be lucky and it works or like a lot of us, it did not work, but lights up and looks nice.

Its common for the system to turn itself off in conditions like this. Have you tried driving it today as you might find it will reset itself.

Just got the blank out and I think thats my luck gone.
Does not appear to be a connector behind it.

I have also driven it and still have the lights on although the conditions are not good so that may be the reason.

    Any suggestions.

As above, once the TC and ABS lights are on the module has detected overspin

Driving on normal roads for a few miles corrects this
Switch off and leave for 5 mins

Think this is the part number for the T/C switch 13138265 (scribbled on my notepad along with about 30 other parts I've asked Santa for )

    Many thanks folks,

    Damo77, will track this down.

Ed Taylor, I have had a good look behind this blank and the loom seems to be missing a plug behind it, any magic tricks to resolve this problem.

M8internet by the way the TC/ESP has reset its self cheers.

If my memory is correct there should be a Blue conector/plug. it is set back quite a bit so have another look, maybe with a torch as you might have not seen it proporly (hopefully).
