found the answer- use silicon spray around your door seals or wd40 or petroleum jelly. but best with silicon spray ( furniture polish ? ) giving it a try...........

3m silicone spray - second only to 3m lithium grease as my fave spray for cars. wd40 is 3rd.
will wd40 not harm the rubber if not im going to do it now
hi, on the google search it posted 1-silicon spray 2-petroleum jelly 3- WD40 last resort.
WD40, vasaline or even spray on some de icer as a temporary measure. Prevention is better than cure though and never throw warm water over your car as a de icing measure, the water gets on the seals and then freezes. At this time of year when you wash your car its a good idea to dry the seals and the door frames.
Vasaline will last longer than wd40.
im using vasaline on mine as i dont have a door frame so my window is on the rubber and i have had no probs and we have seen minus 17 i also put some on the rubber boot seal to so no sticky boot
