    Default Snow driving

Had a fair bit of snow and took quite a few hours to do a 20 mile journey today, the car has been lowered and was a bit of a snow plow lol. Just wanted to know does all this snow under the car scraping along cause any damage, can't be good for the engine?

cant see it doing any damage tbh mate, worst that will happen is if you go over a really harld bit of ice it could damage your brake pipes or fuel lines exhaust etc,

depending on what your car is you might have a plastic cover under your engine, but thats normally just diesels.

First real snow here this winter and i can't even go out and see how well or poorly the Vectra performs. Had a strange turn the other day and been told by the hospital that i can't drive for four weeks, they say it might have been a transient ischaemic attack (TIA), google it.

I had a TIA after an operation so I know how frightening it is. Hopefully you are back to normal. Apparently its quite common. No recurrence for me and they gave me statins for life. Apparently a very good drug...

As long as it's fresh fluffy snow your OK, but once the chucks of ice start forming then you'll want to keep an eye open. I was the same when it snowed up here, just had to push it out the way and on a few occasions got stuck on top of it LOL.

Worst thing that could happen is the ice could crack your sump, but that'll need a good whack to do that
