150 1.9 engine wont start

Hi my car limped onto the drive last night and engine stalled out. On checking battery it looked like its had it, green indicator has gone black. The car would still turn but engine will not fire.
I went to Vauxhall and bought new battery fitted it but same problem as before!! Engine will only turn but nothing else. Waiting to have a mobile mechanic look at it but could be a few days as yet. Anyone got any ideas........thanks.

Do the pedal test in the how 2 section.

See if you can post up any fault codes

hav u tryed starting it the day after? my car did the same i jumped it day after and it run but if left for few hours it wont run again, plus my coil light is not comin on!

Frozen diesel.......just a thought.

as above... How much diesel do you have in the tank... Recommendation is to not run it low in this weather aparently

Tried starting it again today with other key just incase it was the immobiliser chip, still wont go and i have a bout quarter of a tank of fuel in there. I should check the fuel lines into filter maybe? to see if the fuel is getting through.
