    Talking Finally on Winter tyres!

Finally got them fitted. Second hand Dunlop SP WINTERSPORT 205/55 R16 The grip in snow is great, no drama even under full thorttle Ride comfort is exceptional if you compare it to my summer tyres (225/45 R17). They're quiet and...I'm super happy Just wanted to share my experience so far

Been travelling with a guy who put a pair of winter tyres on the front of his Primera. Grip is unbelievable. He did a spirited sprint away from the lights with 2 inches of snow on the ground and it just dug in and shot forward, no spinning wheels, no drama just dug in and away we went. Im definatly getting some for some spare wheels next year.

Assume you mean in a few weeks time
I suggest you go to your local tyre dealer and order them NOW
You will then receive them in mid-January
Sadly that will be too late for the usual Scottish shutdown and snow issues that usually occur between 30 December and 04 January, but who cares over those few days!

Anyone tried the suggestion on another thread of getting four spacesavers and using them for winter tyres? How much are the Dunlops?
