Default Error free sidelight and numberplate LED's?

I've just ordered an HID kit and want LED's in both the sidelights and numberplate to get that all-white look. From what I can see you get error codes (or flashing) when fitting most LED bulbs in the Vectra but wondered if anyone had fitted either these sidlelight bulbs:
    501-error-free-8-smd

    or these numberplate bulbs:
    Xtec-c5w-led-error-free

both of which promised no error codes. Or are there now any other LED's available which don't give error codes or flashing?

I fitted some 'ERROR FREE' T10/501s very similar to them to my side lights that cost £15.00, total waste of money. Look great when on but as soon as i start the car even with the side lights off the flash alternatively.

Looks like Police Flash Dash so I had to remove them however, I think these would sort them out but have yet to try? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LED-Light-Bulbs-Load-Resistors-W5W-501-Wedge-Error-free-/270659910683?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM& hash=item3f04967c1b

Silly question but can the whole bulb check system not just be turned off to stop the issue with LED'S via tech2?
