Dreaded spanner light

Last week after the car 1.9 cdti 150, had been standing for a week and abit started her up for the first time. No spanner light, and sat and defrosted for 15 mins or so, pulled out the street and drove a hundred yards and the spanner light came on

arranged to go to the garage which is 20 miles away and half way there the light went off, they plugged her in an there are no fault codes stored. Car has been running fine however tonight after work defrosted the car and the same thing pull away and after 100 yards spanner light again!!! Anyone any ideas???

I had the spanner light on with no running problems a few times and then intermittent running problems. So far cleaned and blank EGR and still doing the same so I will keep looking for solution.
Mine is in constant use so not sure if it's the same problem.

Just been to the garage and the code coming up is for the egr valve, they have looked in the inlet manifold and it's abit coked up. It's booked in new years eve to change it. Hope it sorts it out, this will be the second egr it's had in it's lifetime
