Removing the CD30 shouldnt be a problem. Removed mine many times when i had one without any problems. Just pop it out, take the quadlock off, fit the SOT122 harness and back it goes.
ive got one in my insignia mate and they are great bits of kit had something similar in the vectra aswell just dont get halfords to fit it its says 19.99 but then they charge you for the sot lead ontop of that which is about £30 and i just wouldnt let them near my car to be honest
ive used a guy in the glasgow area that comes to you and does a great job and he is a nice guy to boot and also a approved by parrot themselves, im at work just now but will get the details to you tomorrow how much is the mk9200 system in halfords??
190 fitted with free parrot ds1120 bluetooth speakers which are 200 in halfords also
like i said mate halfords will be another £30 on top for the sot lead but suppose if your gettin free speakers , i think the guy i used fitted it and supplied unit and came to me for £200 which was a bargain 11 months ago
thats really good pirries is a company in dundee that will supply and fit including lead for 220 plus vat, was going to ask if they will will fit one i supply cause they said 155 for parrot and 15 for lead but 155 plus vat is 185 i can buy it for 170 from halfords plus free speakers then 15 plus vat is 18 so that makes 188 plus 50 to fit plus vat on that is 248??
rather than 264
halfords said 2 month wait on fitting @£20 or next week for mobile fitting scammers
Halfords branches vary, like anything else. The guys in my local shop are very helpful, although I fitted mine myself. The radio doesn't need a code just to be removed and refitted.
Discuss carefully with them where you want to fit the screen and the remote. I fitted the screen to a switch blank, then if I remove it at any stage I can replace the blank with a new one for peanuts. You might want to start off with the remote simply strapped to the steering wheel (it comes with a strap) or use it unattached until you decide where you will want it fixed.
ok thanks pirries fitted my alarm on my cav sri 16v many moons ago and did a great job so i would like them to fit it i think but if i buy from halfords i get free speakers worth 200
speakers can be sold on ebay
