    Default Xmas presents for parents

Well if you hadn't noticed, it's THAT time of year again!

I'm 28 years old, moved out 8 years ago, no idea what my parents have and dont have, or what they'd like for xmas, so I'm asking you guys for some inspiration!

What have you bought your parents, either this year or previous years, and importantly did they like what they received?

    Thanks in advance

Something they would not buy for themselves. Give them a treat.

Have you no brothers/sisters still at home could help? Assume you've been in touch in the missing years, what did they get last Xmas that they were really pleased with?
I know I'm getting an e book reader this year, carries up to 160 books in something the size of a paperback. Otherwise I usually get gadgets, socks and underwear, something for car, or booze (running joke as due to medication I rarely drink)
