squeaky/rattling parcel shelf

Hey guys..the parcel shelf on the vec is rattling like mad, It has one of the plastic bump mouldings missing from the back of the shelf. Can these be bought from vxl or is it a new shelf jobbie?

Yeh, main dealer about £1.50 ish. But might not stop it, mine didn't.

I cured the my rattling parcel shelf by re-seating and supergluing the rubber end pieces so that they sit exactly 'square onto' the plastic shelf. Worked a treat.

probably a bit late now, i had the same problem with one of the mouldings missing, I ordered them off ebay so have a spare if anyone needs one

Try putting a knot in both the support cords. Its simple but affective.
