Default MOT Advisory - Emissions too low to test

    Hi All

    I've got a 56 plate 1.9 CDTI (150) Vectra C, Had a service and a MOT today..

Got an advisory notice with the MOT of:
    Emissions too low to test

    Has anyone else had this?
    Is this a good thing?,
    or
is there a problem with the car?

    Many Thanks
    Steve

    Emmisions too low to test!

It's a smoke test on diesels so your car must be burning super clean

Emissions too low! How do you recify that? Remove the CAT/DPF!

Is there a Vx Field remedy?

Thats fantastic lol. Thats the best one I've ever heard. I can't wait to go into work and tell them that one. I suspect the nail has been hit on the head above, in that they have carried out an emissions test on a diesel. Just take it back and get your free retest done (by another tester I might add lol)

    What a load of nonsense
Mine returns 0.00 as I have posted before
Initially the tester thought the equipment was faulty, but tested his own car
On my next visit he remembered the car returned a nil, and same result second time

The MoT tester should supply a prinout or result from the emissions test
Take a look and post the figures from it
