    Default Plastic chrome

    Does anyone have any tips on what i could use to polish my chrome window strips they are starting to look a bit weatherd!

    I think you will find the only remedy is to replace as water gets under the laquer and is impossible to remove

    try claying them, mine still arnt perfect, but did improve them

    i used poorboys trim restorer, its the best thing but its only temporary solution, best bet is to replace them.

    Take them off n bath them in hot water and some lynx shower gel

    I done this recently and it brought them up good

    Not sure how long they lasted as a was visiting parents and it was her neighbour

    I use Peek polish (the squeezy tube version) because it's designed for chromed plastic as well as chromed metal. Halfords used to see it, not sure if they still do.

    It brings up my car's chrome like new removing the water stains, weathering, and many of the scratches as well as shining it really well, although - as pointed out above - it probably won't help with anything that's got in under the chrome.

    The only thing that removed rusty coloured marks left behind by my 'vectra' and 'v6' badge on my back strip was t-cut
