    Default Testing glowplugs?

After snapping a glowplug last week i've left the car alone until today. I decided to test the resistance on the glowplugs

    2 glowplugs measured 1.3 ohms
1 glowplug measured 0.6 ohms (which i assume is the duff plug)

The snapped glowplug read 1.2 ohms so i think if i get inventive i might be able to bodge i mean repair that one

Can anyone confirm what sort of resistance readings i should be getting

    Cheers guys

As far as i know bud,the resistance of a glow plug in good condition is very low(less than 1 ohm) so on that score it would appear that the 2 reading 1.3 oms are duff ones, and the one reading 0.6 is the good one.

Yep the resistance should be really really low. The higher the number the more resistance you have

right, just checked the new ones again. My multimeter is a cheap one so i set it to 200 in the ohms setting and there measuring

    0 1.4

and if i set it at 2000 they measure

    0 0 5

so i guess i had it on the wrong setting
