Default Finding someone a job in Building & Construction trade - HELP!

    Folks,

    I need some help.
Basically im trying to find my brother some work ASAP (he is also trying).

He has done all sorts of quals and got accreds in Bricklaying, first level Plastering and basic plumbing and heating and general refurbishmnet, but all these amount to nothing as he cannot get a look in with any company.

He spent 6 weeks working on a gut and build project with a local builder about 4-5 months ago but thats it, since then no one is willing to give him a chance.

So first of all, does anyone know of any builder who is after a cheaper labourer to work alongside them in the West Midlands area? He has his own car, his own protective work wear, CCSS card holder and has some of his own tools too.

He is willing to get his hands dirty with practically any type of site work, the only thing he doesnt want to do is to fill up skips all day long and/or put up scaffolding, other than that he is easy as he wants the experience.

If yes, can someone please try to get my brothers foot in the door.

If not, can someone recommend the best way to apply and to get into some of these Building and Construction companys cos as the moment nothing seems to be working.

Oh and a nice healthy drink will be on me for whoever can help in finding him some work.

P.S. he is not self-employed or a contractor, he said he would rather work for someone as he is at the early stages of starting out so has no issues in taking orders.

    Thanks chaps.
