Default How to remove gunk left from badges?

I had a bright spark idea last night to remove the shamefull Ls badges from the side of the Vec, but how can I remove the glue / gunk stuff from underneath? I dont want to use something to abrasive obviously, but now Ive made a right dogs dinner of it lol.
    Any ideas?

It comes off easier if you warm it up with a hairdryer, use tar remover and polish, job done
