Hands up who else misread the title and thought it said

    "Christmas tree for the car"

I think I've still got one up in the loft that I used to velcro to the parcel shelf and wire into the rear lights.

Anyone else had big bills this season?
There the sort ot xmas pressies I dont like...1200 big ones, is never good, especially at this time of year. (Good price for the amount of work been done) So glad i've got a petrol, just put the juice in and thats it

Got the car back this morning after giving them £1127 and a crate of beer . Unfortunately I can't give it a decent test drive due to the weather, but one little thing I did notice. The power delivery and turbo lag have got that little bit better (something only the driver would notice). I wouldn't be surprised if I am getting a little bit more power to the wheels now. I asked to see the old DMF and clutch. Clutch was partly worn, but the DMF had sort of warped. The mechanic had to hit it with a hammer just so he could remove the bolts. He said I was just in time to get it changed. And the best thing about getting it fixed...........

it doesn't feel like I am sat in a lazy boy when the car is at idle.
