Is best for my Signum 2.2DTI?? It's getting a service today so I just wondered which oils are the best?

I use VX 10/40 semi on my 2.2dti. Its good enough for the engine. I also change the oil every 5k, so no point in paying fully synth prices.

Also when vx used to service my car, they used 10/40 semi in it too.

And welcome to the site mate.

Vauxhall recommend that 5w/30 long life fully synth be used in all Vec-C engines.

I'd go with 10-40 on an older engine with it being more worn in places. That's what is in mine and its on just shy of 200,000 miles.
