Can anyone advise what type of bulb is used in the main beam?

I have Vec SRI 2008 CDTi 150. All standard. I'm looking for a whiter main beam bulb to match the HID (or close as) - possibly LED?

also,... fogs too, might as well have them done as well

You want white main beam and fogs, then try these as they're very white http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/mtec-xe...lbs-p-395.html

They look great but you'll see eff all at night

Yeah I know I'm having to compromise on vision a bit here, but with HID dip I think it will be ok. Looks naff when popping the main beam on at the moment.

Anyone had experience of the LED type bulbs?....it's either what gtr has suggested or LED and not sure - brightest of the two
