help needed

i have got a 2002 2.2dti vectra elite

i keep having the orange spanner light coming on when i stop at a junction in which it puts the car in 'limp mode'. when i plug it into op-com it brings up something to do with the boost/turbo.

i cant get to op-com again till next week so i tried to do the flash test with the brake pedal and accelerator but i just get a solid light so cant get the code!!!

does anyone have any ideas on this as it really starting to get on my nerves and i dont want this car to p**s me off because i will just bin it and i love it

any help would be greatly appreiated

Welcome to the site.
Check all the vacuum hoses for perishing and also give the throttle body a clean with carb cleaner.

Think there may also be 1/2 vacuum solenoids at the front r/h near to the rad, they can be parted & cleaned apparently, there connected to the same system as suggested above.

checked all the boost pipes today and there was 2 splits on the pipe coming from the turbo just taped up for now until my new pipe comes
